Christmas 2025
Dear Friends and family,
We are so thankful for this year with its many blessings and trials. But God is good and so faithful!
We brought in a new member to the family in March with the wedding of Judah to Madison Basler. The whole Basler family of Macon, MO feel like family we hadn’t met yet. What a kindness of God. And just last week, on Dec 16th, we welcomed little Liam (William Cross Sawyer) into their sweet new family. Praise God for new life!
Another new one joined our little clan in September as well, Willa June Miller was born at home. Another great miracle and kindness of God to Catherine and Jared, Woodland (6) and Rosie (2) and all of us. They are still serving at the Bridge and with Pure Sonic. They also embarked on buying their first house this year. God has surely blessed.
Josiah is still enjoying teaching at the Naval training base in Pensacola, with Esther, Sarah (11) and Amythest (9). They had an eventful year moving to a house and getting to go to Disney World.
Brad is back working for Sargent’s Construction (after a stint for a small company in TN) and Hannah (Rory, 10) has been working for a wellness clinic in Bonne Terre, and got to join Josiah’s family at Disney World. They faithfully serve in the mission of the Bridge in Farmington. They also sold their house and moved back to Farmington. Through a year of uncertainty God has faithfully provided.
Aleah and Lathen and the 4 sweet boys (Ezra (7), Leo (5), Charlie (3), Oliver (14mths )are still in WA working in trees and serving faithfully at Living Water, Olympia. Aleah, helps with worship and stays at home to homeschool her little clan.
Micah returned from deployment overseas and Micaiah and the boys (Walker, (3), Mason (18mths) were grateful to have him back (they are currently at Ft. Bragg in NC). Micaiah has gotten to travel back and forth to perform at a venue in Eagleville, owned by Craig Campbell. It’s been so wonderful to get to see her sing again. Pray this opens more doors for writing and coordinating with other artists from this region.
Noah and Alexis, currently stationed in Maryland, shared the joy of a sweet little boy to join them in May of 2026. (The number of boys in this family will far out way the girls. Train them up in You, please Lord.) Alexis will be finishing up her nursing training at about the same time. Her hands will be full. Noah is leading Bible studies online with his brothers and friends, as well as teaching Sunday school classes at their church, and also taking classes while fulfilling his military schedule.
Judah and Madison are still with Sight and Sound, which has been a true gift for a lot of us to get to see those wonderful Biblical stories come to life on stage.
Elijah is still working at Starbucks in Murfreesboro. He was promoted to a full time supervisor this year, and has begun taking classes through the program they provide, with Arizona State University. He has been instrumental in bringing friends and coworkers to church in Eagleville with us. Pray for this witness to continue as he is faithful to the message.
God has been so good to allow most of the Sawyers to gather twice this year, a miracle itself. We all got to gather for the wedding, but also we were able to celebrate Dad’s 80th birthday at Camp Caanan, in Marquand, MO as well as mom and dad’s 60th wedding anniversary (technically on Christmas Day) AND gather for Thanksgiving. Thank you, Lord, for your tremendous blessings of Christian heritage. It was such a precious time of laughter and worship. Hannah gifted each family with the new SING hymn book. We enjoyed singing some of our favorites, shedding tears of joyful thoughts of eternity together..
Greg and Tonya took on a new Church position to revitalize a flagging church in Eagleville Tennessee. (about 40 Minutes drive south of Nashville) Eagleville Baptist Church has been in existence for 186 years in the community and was well in decline with about 30 active members. Greg took over January 4th and we began process of rebranding and restructuring the church to better reach the community. The church is now called Common Ground @ EBC and we have seen the average attendance more than double in the past year. We are excited about the future as we continue to look for where God is at work and join Him. You can learn more about our new church Here
Please pray for us as we let God use us and serve His kingdom here.
Love you all!!
Praise His holy name at this Christmas time and for the new year as well!!
