Merry Christmas 2024

Christmas 2024

Dear friends and family,

This year has been a most blessed one as we reflect on the wonderful kindness of God. How we rejoice in His ever present goodness and provision.

Greg and Tonya are still living in an RV in Eagleville, TN. Greg has the privilege to help lead an early morning men’s Bible study on Wednesdays at a local business. This study has served 18-30 men consistently at 5:15 each week. This has been a true work of God, and we are so thankful to get to participate in it and watch His mighty work. We wait to see what God will give us as a permanent settled job in this region, if He desires us to stay.

Josiah and Esther, Sarah (10) and Amethyst(8) are now back in Pensacola, Fl at the Naval air station. Josiah is instructing at the recruit training school. They are involved in a sweet little church in that area.

Hannah and Brad, and Rory (9) are still working hard in Bonne Terre, Mo serving at the Bridge Church(s) in youth and music. Brad works at Sargents and trying to keep ahead of their old house and its persistent needs.

Aleah and Lathen, with Ezra (6), Leo (4), and Charlie (2), are still in Olympia, WA and welcomed baby Oliver on October 4. He was teasing momma and came 10 days past due, but born at home perfect and healthy. Grandma and Papa got to be there and be a part of welcoming this little one. What a joyous time.

Micaiah and Micah, with Walker(2), at Ft Liberty(Bragg) in NC., also welcomed a new little one this year. Mason was also late, by 12 days, and was a big boy, born at home, safe and healthy on May 17. (Grandma got to be there as well, and papa joined to meet this little one). God has blessed us more than words. Micah has deployed and will be gone for nearly a year, please pray for Micaiah during this time as she juggles two energetic little boys without him. Micaiah has been privileged to lead worship at her women’s group (PWOC)on base and it is a great blessing to her. We are thankful she will get to spend some of the holidays in MO to be near family.

Noah and Alexis have bought their first house near the base of their new assignment near Washington D.C. They made the move this summer and got to see family on the way through. They also will come back to MO for some time at Christmas.

Judah has been busy this summer after graduating from College of the Ozarks in the spring. He first took a job at Old Navy and was a rising star at selling credit lines, but God opened up an opportunity much closer to his calling when he was offered a job with Sight and Sound Theaters of Branson. He has also found the love of his life and we are grateful to be welcoming Madison to the family in the near future.

Elijah turned 20 this year and is still hanging out in TN with mom and dad, working at Starbucks. He has recovered most of his skin from severe allergies that hit him in TN. He gets to travel to near Chattanooga to see a few of his WA friends who are there at school on occasion, so he’s content to stay for a while longer and decide what is next for him. What a privilege youth brings. :)

Catherine and Jared, with Woodland (5) and Rosie (near 2) are still in Farmington, MO working for the church at the Bridge in several capacities and also for Pure Sonic (wedding photo company). They also embarked on buying their first house this year. God has surely blessed them.

God has truly protected us through so much travel and new little ones. “He is our refuge and shield, a very present help in times of trouble.” Ps 46:1

We pray His many blessings and most of all His presence with all of you for each of life’s wonderful times and also its challenges. May the name of Jesus be praised. He deserves all of our worship.

In the beautiful, powerful name of Christ Jesus,

Greg and Tonya and family.
